This year’s @metgalaofficial_ theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” is significant especially in today’s weaponized anti-DEI climate. Bravo to @theannawintour for the foresight and tenacity to not waver on this important exploration of Dandyism which is a form of cultural expression, resistance and self-identity for Black Men.

As a Fashion Professor I am geeking out at some of the early arrivals who clearly understood the assignment.

She has also taught Fashion and Technology and Capstone at ASU and even wrote the curriculum for a special topics class on diversity, equity and inclusion in fashion.
